Undergraduate Certificates
Students interested in acquiring specific accounting skills as a stackable credential should consider the Accounting Certificate. This certificate program cover both private and public accounting topics and prepare students for positions as accounts payable clerks, accounts receivable clerks, bookkeepers or tellers.
These courses can be applied to an A.S. or B.S. degree at 起点传媒 in Accounting, as a way to augment a degree that students already achieved or augment prior learning to provide for a change in career.

The Advanced Civil Practice Certificate Program provides Paralegal students with advanced instruction in civil litigation which will enable graduates to demonstrate at a higher level the competencies outlined by the American Association for Paralegal Education. Many students undertaking this program are changing careers and returning as non-traditional students. As such, they may not be able to maintain a full-time course load, nor do they need to complete a full degree in Paralegal Studies to obtain a job in a law office. This program also meets the needs of students who are already practicing as paralegals, but their employers would like them to expand their knowledge base. This program will enable paralegal students who have already earned a Paralegal Certificate to earn an advanced certificate in the area of civil litigation.

The Advanced Criminal Practice Certificate Program provides Paralegal students with advanced instruction in criminal litigation which will enable graduates to demonstrate at a higher level the competencies outlined by the American Association for Paralegal Education. Students will also gain valuable experience working recording events with other music production students in the NESCom audio studio with the video department.

In order to progress to complete the Advanced Music Production Certificate, a grade of C+ or higher must be achieved in all courses.
This certificate is designed for students who would like to complement their current skill set in either live sound production or music production with the advanced skills of post-production that would allow them to further their career options. Courses will provide students with the applicable skills in foley recording, dialogue recording, and field recording and amp; production techniques. Students will also gain valuable experience working video shoots, field productions, a film shoot with other post-production students and with the video department.
Students enrolled in the B.S. in Audio Engineering - Post Production program are not eligible for this certificate.

From youth recreational leagues to professional sports, coaches play a vital leadership role in the development and success of teams and athletes everywhere. 起点传媒’s Coaching Certificate program maximizes your potential as a coach and provides you with the latest information in coaching strategies, sports medicine and sport psychology. You’ll also gain valuable training and experience through a sport management internship.
The Coaching Certificate is an undergraduate program that consists of 15 total credit hours. Students in this program must complete at least 15 semester credit hours and maintain a 2.0 overall cumulative grade point average or higher.

Photography has seen significant changes over the last ten years. The incorporation of sensor technology, which displaced film is the most obvious, but not the most significant. The most substantial displacement occurred fueled by social media and its integration with smart phones. Applications were created to bypass the disciplines associated with traditional photography. The photography certificate is designed to reestablish a link to traditional fundamental photographic practices, while embracing relevant technological advancements.
Students in the more obvious visual arts fields like video, marketing, and journalism can benefit from this certificate, as well as those in entertainment production, criminology, and others. The assemblage of the courses within this certificate provides historical perspective, compositional aesthetics, lighting, and lens perspective, which are all still relevant. The Pre Law certificate program provides Legal Studies students with advanced instruction in areas of law which will enable graduates to demonstrate higher level competencies outlined by the American Association for Paralegal Education. Many students undertaking this program are considering attending law school in the future; the courses in this program allow students to explore this area of study and provide a solid educational foundation for success in law school. The certificate is available to students in other programs of study, as well as to students in the School of Legal Studies.

Radio Broadcasting is a vibrant media outlet across the US and globally, but not all students can dedicate a full 4-year curriculum to study of the field. Students who work in radio broadcasting learn and cultivate communication skills and develop strong skills in media production. An ideal candidate is an outgoing student who wants to add performance and production media skills to their existing abilities. A Radio Broadcasting Certificate will train students on radio production and operational skills, including introduction to FCC rules and regulations, on-air performance as well as short and long form production.

The Sales Certificate program is designed to provide our student base with real world concepts and best practices in the areas of Professional Selling as well as Sales and Marketing management. Sales are the top line of any Income Statement and the activity that allows all other business functions to continue. Everyone in every organization, regardless of industry or profession, is ultimately dependent on successful sales results. As a result of obtaining the Sales Certificate, students will be more competitive in the job market for sales, marketing, retail or other customer service related jobs.
Fact: The national organization “Sales Education Foundation” reported recent survey results indicating that 52% of all graduates, regardless of major, find that the 1st job is in Sales or Sales support.

At the root of global terrorism is a radical strain of Islamic fundamentalism that finds adherents from Saharan/sub Saharan Africa, across the Middle East through Central and west/east Asia, as well as Europe and North America. This global jihadist movement challenges governments and multinational organizations to maintain their traditional openness and freedoms of operation while installing security procedures and systems to counter this terrorist threat.
This certificate is designed provide a foundational understanding of this threat for law enforcement, military, and corporate security officers who act as the first-line of defense against terroristic acts.
